We are hiring a Bookkeeper to join our team Experience in customs and imports is a HUGE plusThis role is remote but you MUST live near the Sacramento, CA area to qualify.
Job Duties:
Maintain general ledger integrity, miscellaneous accounts payable, accounts receivable, assist with inventory accounting and various special analyses.
Produce remittance records for both incoming and outgoing payments.
Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts as assigned.
Prepare reports as needed.
Ensure a regular, periodic reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts in conjunction with direction from Accounting Management.
Any additional accounting duties as needed.
Support role with Company team to cover staff vacation coverage and other transactional support as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
Sound knowledge of accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Quiet and private area to work from home.
Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards and state/federal regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite; MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word
Excellent communications skills (In-person, phone, and email).
Able to work well with senior executives.
An ability to work independently with effectiveness.
Highly organized with a proven track record of organizational success.
Full fluency in English language.
