We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various tasks. Up to 20 hours per week, 3 days a week, 9:00AM – 2:00PM
Pay & Duties: Starting at $12.00 an hour. Below items should take up 80% of this position. The other 20% will be tasks based on current DSAA needs.
```Responsibilities```
· Data Entry in Quickbooks.
· Verifying monthly bank statements and reconciling all bank accounts.
· Submitting monthly reports to treasurer and/or president.
· Make bank deposits.
· Navigate Quickbooks to present reports for board meetings.
· Run end of year reports for tax returns.
· Assist with tracking of event registration using Excel.
OTHER DUTIES:
· Other responsibilities as assigned or approved by the Board of Directors.
-Assist with answering and/or directing phone calls, voice messages, and emails to appropriate party(ies). Assist with preparation of office related materials for events. Assist with ordering special materials, business cards, etc. Assist with collecting mail from P.O. Box. Assist to maintain office equipment and order office supplies. Assist with preparation and mailing various mail outs. Assist and partake in all fundraising events.
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, QuickBooks, and Bloomerang.
-General office skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
