Bookkeeper

A. Hunter Property Management is looking for someone to fill an accounting position. Job would include all accounting functions including, but not limited to: handling rental income and paying and accounting for expenses, (AP/AR), financial reports monthly, bank reconciliations. We need someone who has experience in accounting, and is able to familiar with and able to prepare financial statements, and handle all aspects of accounting. A. Hunter has been in business for 29 years, we have a small friendly staff. We are looking for someone who shows initiative, is motivated and a self starter. We treat our employees as our team! Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Various other accounting tasks

Qualifications:
- Accounting Experience
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with real estate industry is a plus, but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.59 - $22.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
