etrailer.com is looking for experienced candidates that will be key players in propelling the company beyond its current capabilities. Preferred candidates will be able to suggest and implement solutions with new toolsets, methodologies, and industry standards to help improve the etrailer data ecosystem.

This teammate will be responsible for the following:

• Proficient in Data Analysis: Analyzing large datasets to derive insights and help make business decisions. Able to choose the correct tool for the job.
• Predictive Modeling: Developing predictive models to provide recommendations to customers.
• Machine Learning: Utilizing machine learning algorithms to improve various aspects of the ecommerce platform and the company as a whole. Being able to select an algorithm best suited to the task.
• A/B Testing: Designing and analyzing A/B tests to optimize platform characteristics and user experiences.
• Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Can use Python or similar technology to prepare data for processing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related fields with 3 to 7 years' experience OR Master's degree in Data Science or Data Engineering with years' experience
• Strong Python experience
• SQL experience
• Independent, taking ownership, social, communicative, ability to explain complex technical issues and result driven.
• Team player, organizationally savvy and works well with others.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Azure experience
• Splunk experience
• C# experience
