We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. We are looking for someone to work Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of each week. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, emailing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient appointments
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental office software system Eaglesoft
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and recordkeeping procedures
