- Full training will be provided, but someone with previous experience at a medical facility is preferred
- Need to be well presented with good communication skills written and spoken with a polite and mannered disposition
The responsibilities and duties of registrar include:
- Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone
- Answering or referring inquiries
- Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
- Verifying insurance
- Responsible for coordinating the daily administration of doctors, staff, visitors, and patients
- Scanning patient documents, faxing paperwork, checking patients in and out, and collecting co-pays
- Monitor stock and supplies of the office
