```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for patient visits
- Handle patient billing, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, referring patients to specialist
```Requirements```
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, printers, and phone systems
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience EMR systems.
