Responsibilities:
- 5 years’ prior experience desired for medical office
- Experience in Pain Management preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have excellent customer service skills as well as organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent phone etiquette when handling various accounts
- Knowledge of basic medical assessment practices and terminology
- Use certified Electronic Medical Record (EHR) program; Athena EHR preferred
- Responsible for scheduling and assisting patients
- Assist with phone calls for appointments and prescriptions
- Responsible for preparation of Medical Records
- Balance weekly patient payments
- Manage tablets used for patient intake
