Salary- We are looking for an Receptionist that is an multi-tasker with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You will be working with a multi physician practice with heavy patient interaction both face to face and via phone. Responsibilities include checking patients in and out of the office, collecting payments, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance, and processing new patients. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Position would require you to work in our St. Augustine office 2 days a week.
- Organizes and evaluates patient medical records.
- Reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness.
- Files and retrieves organized medical records.
- Retrieves charts from various departments daily.
- Answers phones and handles request of information in a confidential, professional and expedient manner.
- Maintains and logs all shred boxes appropriately.
- Follows health system requirements, policy and standards on confidentiality and release of protected health information.
- Reviews all charts for completeness before adding to shred box.
- Remains compliant with all HIPAA requirements and regulations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Backup Front Desk when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
