Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant

If you are an experienced _ medical assistantlooking for an opportunity in the _LAKE NONAAREAthen we want you! We are seeking an experienced medical assistant who will also fulfill our our Front Desk receptionist position.

We are seeking an individual who can handle both the Front Desk and take on occasional medical assistant duties.

Responsibilities Include:

Greet and welcome clients & patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
Verify patient information and collect necessary payments
Maintain patient records and update information as needed
Assist with billing and drug ordering for patients
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area for a fun work environment.

Provide patients with medical care within the MA's scope of practice.

Must have: Certified as a Medical Assistant
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a medical or dental office preferred
- Proficient in using EMR software systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional demeanor
