Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the Front Desk area
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical or dental office preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Epic, or other dental office software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
