Who We Are:
Total Recovery Physical Therapy is a growing practice located in Little Falls, NJ (Passaic County). Our office is in a highly visible area in downtown Little Falls, NJ. We have developed methods to cater directly to the consumer and are currently seeing a diverse range of patients. We have one location and are planning on opening an additional location in the next few weeks. Candidate must be flexible to work at both offices.
We currently have 5 PTs, 2 PTAs, 1 ATC, Chiropractor, 2 Acupuncturists and Rehab Aides on our team. We proudly have a well-trained and very friendly Front Desk and would love to add the right fit to our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
- Knowledge and understanding of Front Desk and administrative duties
- Personable and patient-centered communication
- Work efficiently with the billing department
- Able to effectively communicate with others (including staff, insurance reps, etc.)
- Basic computer skills including email navigation and downloading/uploading files
- Familiarity with principles of Excel; able to use Word and Adobe
- Calling insurances for benefits, authorizations, sending green elephants
- Flexibility with a staggered schedule (opening and closing shifts)
- Monday-Friday shifts with possible Saturday morning hours
