This is a part-time receptionist position, and you would work week-day afternoons and seasonal Saturday mornings (Rotating Sats: 8-noon, March - August). About Our Business: We install trailer hitches, electrical wiring, bike racks: all towing needs for camping, fishing, biking, etc. We are a small, family-owned and operated business that has been serving our customers in the Des Moines area for 85 years.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner at the Front Desk.
-Answer the telephone: Provide information about our services and products, and schedule appointments.
- Create invoices and process payments.
-Manage the schedule: check in customers and book appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting area.
- Collaborate with employees to relay information.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Competency with: QuickBooks (or other invoicing program), a credit card machine, making change for cash payments, using a calculator (basic math skills)
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle two phone lines
-Strong customer relations skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 29 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
