Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Cedar Rapids Pain Associates is seeking a talented individual to join our team. We are a locally-owned, multi-disciplinary clinic offering exceptional pain management services. Our goal is to help patients manage their pain with non-narcotic interventional therapies. We offer pain management services, physical therapy and chiropractic care. This individual will be responsible for new patient incoming calls, general Front Desk duties and potential growth to clinical and billing duties .

For this highly sensitive specialty, we will interview candidates that are experienced in converting new callers into patients and assisting with their overall needs. This role requires empathy, professionalism, and extraordinary customer service skills. This position will also be cross-trained to be a chiropractic assistant, clinical assistant, and/or billing specialist.

Job requirements include:

· An exceptional, upbeat personality and phone voice

· A desire to answer and utilize the telephone to provide clear communication to all callers

· Healthcare experience working directly with patients is preferred but not required

· Ability to overcome obstacles and assist all patients as needed

· An understanding that this position is the first impression of the practice and an example of the care patients will receive

· Ability to learn new things quickly and adapt easily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
