The Patient Administrator role at Luna Dermatology is an important part of our team, helping to ensure a successful patient visit from beginning to end. She/he will support the broader team through the performance of a range of duties including scheduling, patient check-in and welcome, patient check-out, answering phones, responding to emails, verifying insurances, and collecting payment.
This job is full time, Monday through Friday. Days of the week will be scheduled between our Kingston and New Paltz office locations (typically two days in one location and three in the other). In order to work on our team, all employees must be flexible to work from either location on any given day.

Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Receptionist / Patient Administrator to join our team! This is a full-time position splitting time between our New Paltz and Kingston office locations. The position includes a base hourly rate of $18 - $20 per hour (depending on experience), plus a generous package of benefits that includes access to the company's health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401K (with match), paid time off, company holidays, and more.
Job Duties:
· Perform medical office admin and reception duties, including but not limited to: answering phones, responding to emails, greeting patients, checking patients in, collecting payment, checking patient out, scheduling patients, managing patient demographic and medical information on paper and in our EMR system, and managing the patient reception / waiting area. Education and Experience
· Two or more years’ experience working as an executive assistant, office administrator or Front Desk Receptionist is required.
· High School diploma is required, Post-high school education preferred.
· Experience working in a medical office or in a reception position is nice but not necessary.
· A minimum of two years’ customer service experience of some kind.
· Demonstrated ability to multi-task, apply attention to detail, provide friendly service, and operate with personal responsibility / accountability.
