SalaryWe are a Primary Care Medical Practice in Manhattan seeking a Front DeskMedical Receptionist. It is a full-time position. Candidate must have a positive and pleasant attitude, be organized, punctual, responsible and dependable. Must have a professional presentation that is representative of our practice and be a team player that thrives in a medical service environment.
Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients
- Patient registration and Insurance verifications
- Maintaining patient schedule
- Handling phone calls
- Communications via emails between referring offices
- Managing certain aspects of medical records as directed
- Assisting doctor directly with certain tasks
Qualifications:
A candidate's qualifications will include:
- High School or GED required
- Record chart entries via EMR /Able to use EMR software
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products, Adobe
- Happy and positive thinking, able to project this attitude around others
- Excellent communication and good writing skills
- Detailed oriented
- Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills required
- Having any medical assisting skills is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Knowledge of Spanish is Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
