SalaryOur privately owned practice, located in American Fork, is dedicated to providing excellent medical care to the pets in our community. We are seeking a full time receptionist who is a motivated and responsible individual. You will be in charge of ensuring a friendly and compassionate environment for our clients and patients.
Our hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:30pm and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Fridays. That means no nights or weekends with major holidays off as well. Pay rate depends on experience but ranges between $14 to $16 an hour. Benefits include an employee discount on veterinary care, PTO, and health care stipend.
Responsibilities will include the following:
-Maintain client flow at the Front Desk and lobby area with client check ins and check outs while also managing phone lines.
-Entering and/or updating detailed client and patient information on both digital and paper records.
-Professional and compassionate customer service whether in person or when promptly returning voicemails, texts, emails, and inquiries from the website.
-Money handling and entering charges for patient invoices.
-Scheduling of appointments, surgical procedures, and answering questions from clients about preventive care and at-home care of their pets
-Helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness such as cleaning the lobby, exam rooms, cleaning instruments and surgical equipment, and cleaning kennels.
-Filling prescriptions
