SalaryEstablished dental practice in Pleasant Grove seeking a receptionist to join our great team! Looking for someone to help us continue to provide excellent patient oriented care. Applicants should have one year receptionist experience. Dental knowledge and experience with Dentrix software a plus, but willing to train.
Overview:
We are seeking an individual to join our team who is great customer service skills, detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at multi tasking. As a receptionist you will play a crucial role in communicating with our patients in a friendly, helpful manner. Main tasks will be: scheduling appointments, verify dental insurance and benefits, processing patient payments, and other office administration tasks.
Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Review and update patient information in dental records via Dentrix software
- Maintain practice schedule and communicate with patients via text, phone and in person
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with dental care providers to ensure proper flow of busy practice
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Knowledge of dental office procedures, terminology, and Dentrix is a plus
- Familiarity with treatment care plans and insurance billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using electronic dental records systems and office software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 36 per week
