SalaryResponsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents
- Coordinate with Dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Handle any other Front Desk duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous role is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with patients, visitors, and medical staff in a professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage appointment scheduling and patient records accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
