SalaryStrong leadership and management skills required- We are in search of an individual with the passion and skills to run our day to day operations at our Adoption Center. Excellent customer service and communication skill are required. An ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job. Knowledge of animal behavior, health, and basic medical care. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage a team and ensure proper training and scheduling in a positive atmosphere at ALL times. Someone who will provide excellent care to the animals while in our care as well as train the staff to do the same in order to create a healthy envirnment for everyone.
-Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with other local rescues, animal control, and the public.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the animals.
- Monitor the health and well-being of the animals in the Adoption Center.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians and coordinate any necessary medical care.
- Ensure proper feeding and exercise routines for all animals- Handle any behavioral issues or conflicts among animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and client information.
