SalaryPart Time Receptionist position needed for a busy Family Practice, consisting of 8 providers.
Must be flexible to accommodate Monday to Friday hours, evening hours, and a required one or two Saturday mornings a month. Must be available to work any 8 hour shift needed between the hours of 8 am- 9pm Monday through Friday.
Duties include but not limited to, answering 6 phone lines, scheduling patients, taking copays and insurances, taking messages, and faxing.
Must be able to multi-task.
We use an electronic medical record system that requires everything to be recorded on a computer. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is skilled to answer the phones in a timely manner and be able to type the messages into the computer software. Therefore, adequate computer skills are needed.
Knowledge of insurance helpful.
Ability to work well with and show respect toward co-workers, physicians, patients and their family members.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with other staff and patients
We are a very fast-paced working environment, but also very family-oriented.
We do require all our employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Electronic Medical Records experience preferred. Must be skilled in computer usage
