SalaryAFC Urgent Care is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of operations.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients/clients in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls
- Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Verify insurance, collect payments and balance cash drawer.
- Maintain organized files and records
- Assist with billing and insurance claims
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Skills:
- Proficient in computerized systems for scheduling, data entry, and record keeping
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Experience with calendar management and appointment scheduling
- Previous experience as medical receptionist is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
