Front Desk Receptionist | Medical

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Front Desk Receptionist for our private optometry office. Experience with vision insurance is highly favored. Duties include:

• Greeting patients
• Adding patient insurance info to medical records
• Preparing patient documentation
• Answering phone calls
• Submitting insurance claims
• Taking patient payments and creating invoices
• Ordering contact lenses and notifying patients of their arrival
• Scheduling appointments
• Other office related tasks

Hours (31-36) hours a week)
M 8-3
T 8-7 (1 hr lunch)
W closed
R 8-7 (1 hr lunch)
F 8 or 9 -3
S 8-1 (most saturdays during the school year 2-3 per month) no saturdays in July and August. Hours are somewhat flexible on certain days if less work is desired.

All major holidays days observed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
