Position: Front Desk Receptionist
We are looking to add an experienced full-time Front Desk Receptionist at our primary care practice. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, provide excellent patient experience and attention to detail, and work comfortably in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Check in/out patients quickly and accurately
- Complete insurance verification
- Verify/update patient demographic information at the time of scheduling appointment and upon check-in
- Schedule lab appointments, AWV's and follow up appointments
- Monitor and respond to patient and clinical staff messages
- Complete patient outreach
- Answer incoming calls
- Scan incoming documents
- Obtain co-pays and payments
- Maintain clean appearance of waiting area and Front Desk
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information
Requirements:
- Prior Front Desk experience required, in a medical setting preferred.
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (Preferred)
Abilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone and establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians, staff, and other customers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral written instructions.
- Ability to Multi-task.
