Front Desk Receptionist

The Palmetto Club in Columbia, SC is looking for one Front Desk Receptionist to join our 43 person strong team. We are located on 1231 Sumter Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working. Hours include 9am-4pm on Mondays, 9am-2pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 7am-2pm on Wednesdays and two Sundays a month from 10am-2pm. Must have a flexible schedule to be able to fill in when needed.

Responsibilities

*Greet members and provide above-and-beyond service. *Juggle multiple projects and tasks with accuracy and in a timely matter. *Manage reservations, telephone calls, emails, and member inquiries while using excellent verbal and written communication. *Work closely with all departments of the Club while maintaining a friendly, professional, and outgoing attitude.

Qualifications

*Able to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment while displaying complete professionalism and class. *Thorough understanding of customer service experience with the ability to manage a busy Front Desk. *Knowledgeable on the computer and proficient using Microsoft Office Suite. *Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job and communicate effectively through written information. *Must possess strong multitasking and organizational skills, while being detail orientated, but flexible in order to accommodate the fluctuating needs of the Club. *Professional appearance and attitude. *Must be able to cover an occasional night or weekend shift when needed.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $17.00/hour.
