Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Acquire patient registration, medical history, and dental insurance information
- Verify Dental Insurances
- Schedule appointments
- Collect payments
- Enter insurance checks
- Order office supplies
- Maintain a clean office
- Submit claims with proper narratives and supporting documentation daily
- Maintain daily reports
- Follow up on outstanding AR and claims weekly
- Coordinate training and maintain certifications for the office
Skills
- Proven experience in the dental field
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Dental Insurance
- Scheduling appointments
- Supporting a team
- Experience and understanding of Dental Implants, Sedation, and more is a big plus!
