Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to answer a multi-line telephone and ensure that every incoming call is treated in a professional and efficient manner and all calls are routed to the appropriate individuals. The Receptionist will also be able to take clear complete messages and communicate them in a timely fashion, greet visitors and employees in a pleasant, friendly and courteous manner at all times, and be dependable, reliable and accountable for attendance to effectively cover the front line of the company. This position will also provide clerical support for other departments as needed. Hours: M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and employees in a friendly and courteous manner at all times
- Politely and efficiently handle telephone system.
- Routing all calls from busy 12-line switchboard to appropriate individual or taking time and date stamped messages.
- Must be able to open the office daily.
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail, including UPS, Federal Express and other shipped packages. Ensure correct labeling on all shipping packages; including maintaining accurate records of incoming Federal Express.
- Keep updated phone list of all Sarasota employees.
- Send and receive faxes while having the appropriate cover and acknowledgement of receipt.
- Maintain speed dial/cell phone list of Distributors for Corporate personnel.
- Maintain a current database of distributor, retailer and consumer inquires and forward weekly report to customer service supervisor.
- Enter employee product purchase orders and maintain database on a weekly basis; including providing the Excel spreadsheet to the person responsible for ordering product.
- Assist with Company Store orders.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies for the office and distributing all supplies, when delivered to appropriate persons.
- Provide clerical support to other areas within the Company, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma plus additional specialized training in general administrative practices.
- One (1) to three (3) years related experience.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel and
- knowledge of Power Point applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills along with a professional appearance required.
