We are currently seeking a full- time receptionist to join or dedicated staff at our specialty dental practice. This opening is for our Falmouth location. Excellent communication skills and computer experience is required for this position. A background in the healthcare industry and experience with insurance companies is preferred but we will train the right motivated individual to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Provide information to patients about the organization and its services
- Schedule appointments
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide general administrative support to staff members
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus
- Customer service experience is highly desirable
