SalaryAcclaimed hair salon located on a prestigious block of Newbury Street, Boston, is seeking a capable and ambitious receptionist to join our team. Looking for motivated individuals who are upbeat, intuitive, and customer service oriented. Both part time and full time positions are available.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening and closing of the salon
- Great and welcome clients as soon as they arrive and guide them to appropriate areas of the salon and stylists
- General scheduling via phone or email
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Promote and sell services and products, including recommending and selling additional services and/or retail products
- Maintain salon appearance and cleanliness, including bathrooms
- Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
- Highly articulate and able to communicate well with clients
- Must be detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
