Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Avie! Medspa & Laser Center has been established in NOVA for over thirteen years and takes pride in creating a Natural Aesthetic Look. We are looking for a candidate that shares our philosophy, passion for skincare and wellbeing and understands the importance to details.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic with a positive "can do" attitude and possess a strong work ethic. Must be organized, polite, and polished in appearance, communication and demeanor.

Qualified candidates will be proficient and possess skills in: oral and written communication, customer service, initiative taking, problem-solving abilities, well versed in technology, organized and multitasking. Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities to include, but no limited to:

• Check clients in and out
• Answer phone calls in a professional and polite manner
• Prepare and process paperwork
• Schedule and manage appointments, phone calls and time appropriately
• Manage cash and credit card transactions
• Ensuring the Front Desk, retail area and facility is safe, clean and orderly
• Evaluates chart/software data to verify all information has been received, completed, and signatures obtained
• Pull, file and manage patient charts while protecting patient privacy (HIPAA laws)
• Enter new client data information into the computer and ensure existing clients information is accurate and complete
• Perform register transactions for treatments, procedures, services and products
• Assists in managing inventory or products, medical supplies, and office supplies
• Puts charts in bin for specific physician, nurse or technician
• Makes sure that clients are seen on time
• Close out the register at the end of the day
• Key holder responsibilities to open and close as needed

Administrative:

• Assists administrators as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 12 months experience working in customer service related field
• Poised, mature and professional in appearance, communication and manner
• Adaptable and flexible
• Ability to work independently and well with a team
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Normal work hours: Monday through Friday and may required to work some Saturdays for training and/or meetings
