Front Desk Assistant - Part-Time

Fronk Desk Assistant – Black Mountain – Part-Time - $17.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for a part-time Front Desk Assistant for a conference center located in Black Mountain.

Job Summary: Responsible for serving as the first point of contact with guests and
groups and fulfills essential administrative functions related to ongoing business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, email, and redirect as needed
• Maintain neat, organized, and updated filing systems
• Follow-up with groups
• Assist with bulk mailings, marketing campaigns, databases
• Compile and maintain master calendar
• Greet guests and arrange tours as requested
• Be attentive to gathering areas
• Communicate guest and group information with staff
• Update and report calendar changes to staff and departments
• Inventory & order supplies, ensure office equipment is updated and in good working order
• Maintain inventory, set pricing, generate quarterly reports

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of one year in the hospitality or related field
• Appropriate and better-than-average computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Hours of Work: 2 days per week; 2 weekends per mont
