Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

We are a busy Holistic Wellness office in South Charlotte. We are expanding our staff, and we are seeking a professional office assistant. This position requires that the individual creates a first and last impression for the practice and is pivotal to the practice running smoothly and efficiently as possible. You must have experience in holistic health and wellness. Assist the doctors and the office manager. Some activities may require some bending and lifting of equipment. The candidate will help to handle all functions of the Front Desk that includes administrative duties, scheduling of patients, and answering phones. You must have an outgoing personality.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years healthcare Front Desk experience

Strong communication skills

Adapts well with changing environment.

Ability to complete daily tasks while working in a fast paced environment

Quick learner that is confident in their capability to become skilled at new or revised procedures

Progressive computer application skills needed to perform duties

Previous Chiropractic experience is a plus

Operation/function of MS Excel, Publisher, Word, and Power Point

Detailed and has the skill to multitask

Position includes the following duties and is not limited to those shown:

Scheduling of patient appointments and all follow up appointments

Checking patients in prior to appointments

Ensures that patients are provided with appropriate paperwork

Enters and balances daily charges and receipts

Collects required payments due at time of service

Completes reminder calls

Greeting of patients and directing the flow of the office

Utilizes software to enter patient demographics in system

Insurance verification and billing

Prepares patient paperwork and charts

Patient therapy assistance

Clinical support

Data entry

Hours are Monday –Thursday with an average of 30-35 hours/week

Pay is based on experience.
