Position Description: The Front Desk Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations by managing various Front Desk tasks and providing administrative support across multiple departments. The individual in this role will be responsible for greeting visitors, handling incoming deliveries, managing food drop-offs, processing mail, performing administrative clerk functions, and supporting various departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and provide assistance as required, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Receive and manage FedEx and UPS deliveries, including package receipt and distribution.
- Coordinate lunch and other food deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate recipients.
- Perform basic copying tasks as needed for internal documents and materials.
- Assist with mail processing tasks, including sorting, stamping, and preparing outgoing mail.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Collaborate with various departments to support their administrative needs and facilitate efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area and surrounding space.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs when handling packages and deliveries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle various tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in a similar role or administrative position is preferred but not required.
