About Us:
"Angler's Pointe is a new 200 acre lakefront resort development in Lincoln, AL. The resort will feature RV Sites (Uncovered and Covered w/ full utility hook-ups), Covered wagons, Glamping Tents, 1 & 2 Story Cottages, Bungalows, Tree House Cabins and Tiny Homes. Angler's Pointe also hosts one of the largest live entertainment venues in the area and will be incorporating a marina, multiple pools, dog parks, a food truck and vendor market, and a playground, all of which will be completed in various phases of the development. Also, for all you fisherman out there, our resort adjoins Lincoln's Landing, a national level fishing tournament park with a boat ramp that can launch 10 boats at a time!"
About You:
The Front Desk Administrative Assistant position requires a special individual. The candidate will be the first face our guest sees as they check-in to the resort. This requires a well put together individual that has at least a warm inviting demeanor. A little bit of that southern charm would be beneficial to the them and style of the resort. Angler's Pointe is family-owned and many positions inside the company are filled by family members. We enjoy cutting up, bantering, and joking but we also have high expectations that each job is performed at a high level of excellence. The desired candidate would not only bring their own personality and abilities to the table but also gel with the established dynamic.
This position also requires a high level of attention to detail! You will mainly be working inside a property management software system and the ability to learn, understand and audit information for inaccuracies is crucial!
Responsibilities for the Front Desk Administrative Assistant:
- Greet guests and visitors warmly and make them feel welcome and attended.
- Direct inquires and questions to our Customer Relations Specialist.
- Check-in guests.
- Answer phone an email inquiries from potential guests in a timely and respectful manner
- Receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages, etc
- Ensure that lobby is clean and tidy at all times
- Take payments from guests. Ensure guest account information is accurately entered and guest account ledgers are reconciled.
- Ensure appropriate booking confirmations, arrival instructions, rules and regulations and any other important documentation has been sent out as required.
- Monitor bookings chart to ensure sites are blocked or opened based on cleaning and maintenance needs.
- Working as a team with other office staff to ensure all office runs smoothly.
Qualifications for Front Desk Administrative Assistant
- 3+ years of previous customer service experience
- Hotel / Reservation and Booking experience is a plus.
- Maintain a warm, upbeat, and upscale personality that makes guests feel welcomed.
- Candidate must be well dressed and carry themselves well.
- Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Must have a service oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued
- Knowledge of basic office equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, etc
- Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Competent working with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
- Willing to work irregular shifts and and rotating weekends with other office staff.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
