Job Description
Overview: This is an experienced management position with accountability for all production and sanitation performance. This position also has responsibilities for product quality, safety, scheduling, and dealing with outside vendors/contractors. This position will focus on reducing costs, increasing throughput, increasing quality, improving communication, reporting of all KPI’s, and developing both hourly and salaried employees to world class standards.
Responsibilities:
- Employee scheduling based on the production schedule, maximizing labor costs per gallon/pound of finished goods.
- Build and lead Key Performance Indicator meetings, utilizing leading metrics to drive improvements.
- Utilize cross-training initiatives to build up the bench strength, mitigating issues when call-ins occur.
- Communicate daily and weekly KPI’s to leadership as well as improvements occurring.
- Ensure all product meets quality standards, putting processes into practice which will eliminate future quality issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leading root cause analysis and following up on action items.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A thorough understanding of KPI’s and how to leverage them to make decisions.
- A fundamental knowledge sanitary design along with sanitation practices.
- Experience managing and scheduling personnel to accomplish set tasks.
- A high school diploma plus a minimum of 3-years’ experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work any shift as needed. (Flexible shift)
- Good math skills, and the ability to read and write.
- Must have good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Must have knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, SOP’s, and Food Safety Principles.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000 per year
