Currently, a well-established international food manufacturing company is seeking a Entry Level Product Development/Management Associate.
- Position: Product Development/Management Associate
- Industry: Food Manufacturing
- Location: Hayward, CA
- Pay: $47K~ 48K DOE
- Status: Full Time, Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Documents product information such as labels, specifications, nutrition information
- Calculates product’s nutritional facts in conjunction with FDA regulations
- Designs product label content per purchasing and/or production requests for local, import and exported products
- Researches and calculates new product specifications including recipe modifications
- Researches FDA guidelines and Seafood regulations for import and export products
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or equivalent
- Experience in food/CPG, food manufacturing, or food service is a PLUS
- Knowledge about Food Safety and sanitation
- Knowledge of FDA Food Labeling (CFR 21), regional regulatory standards and documentation requirements
- Japanese language a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
