Job Summary:
We are seeking an Office Manager for our food distribution center & warehouse operations. This position is responsible for bookkeeping, generating financial reports, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to the team. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining accurate books, is very comfortable with navigating standard computer programs like Microsoft Office and Quickbooks, and is very proficient at learning and mastering new software. Organization and good communication abilities are also crucial to the role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Assist with HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Handle incoming calls and emails, providing exceptional customer service
- Maintain an organized filing system for documents, records, and reports
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Provide technical support to other team members regarding inventory, pricing, and other miscellaneous tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, office management or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks (or similar bookkeeping software)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Experience in food distribution, warehousing and/or NECS Entree software a plus
