As a Social Media Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in enhancingour brand's online presence, engaging our audience, and driving growth throughstrategic Social Media campaigns.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the restaurant's goals and objectives.
- Work with the content creators to develop marketing materials, such as menus, flyers, brochures, and promotional videos, to support marketing campaigns and brand identity.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns to keep customers informed about promotions, events, and updates. Analyze email performance and continuously optimize strategies to improve open and click-through rates.
- Creating an effective Social Media strategy is essential for engaging the target audience and achieving the brand's goals. This involves researching the target demographics, analyzing market trends, and identifying the most suitable platforms for reaching the intended audience. By aligning the strategy with the brand's objectives, such as increasing brand awareness, driving sales, or enhancing customer engagement, the Social Media Specialist can outline a comprehensive plan for content creation, posting schedules, and promotional campaigns.
- Experience managing profiles, paid advertising, and analytics across networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Consistency in brand identity is crucial to maintain a coherent and recognizable image. The Social Media Specialist ensures that all content aligns with the established brand guidelines, including visual aesthetics, tone of voice, and messaging. This involves creating and curating content that resonates with the brand's values and resonates with the target audience across various Social Media platforms.
- Before content is published, the Social Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in reviewing and approving all materials. This involves verifying that the content aligns with the brand's messaging, quality standards, and compliance requirements. By having a final say on what goes live, the Social Media Specialist helps to maintain the brand's reputation and ensures that only top-quality content is shared with the audience.
- The marketing specialist will help interact with followers, respond to comments, and initiate discussions to foster a sense of community around the brand. Crafting compelling and relevant captions is equally important, capturing the audience’s attention and encouraging them to interact with the content. Effective copywriting involves using the brand's tone of voice, incorporating relevant hashtags, and sparking interest or emotion in a concise manner.
- Assists with creating a marketing calendar with the Marketing Director.
- Assists in planning new store opening events collaboratively with the marketing team + external PR company. Collaborate with the Marketing Director and restaurant staff to ensure successful execution of events and promotions.
- Plan and execute Social Media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Help oversee guest relations and reviews for all brands and work with SOCI for responses.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 3+ years of paid social experience
- Ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of Web Analytics software, such as Google Analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Social Media or marketing Coordinator or Specialist, showcasing successful marketing campaigns and engagement growth.
- In-depth knowledge of various Social Media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficient in using Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinker with excellent copywriting and visual communication skills.
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and digital communication strategies.
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- A passion for staying updated on the latest Social Media trends, tools, and technologies.
