Menu Development Specialist

Crandall Corporate Dietitians is seeking a detail-oriented person to provide integral support to our Menu Development team.

- We work nine-hour days Monday -Thursday and four hours on Friday.
Candidate must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Registered Dietetic Technician
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Works in a team environment, as part of the Menus Development Team, planning seasonal and custom menu services for senior living communities.
- Menu services include developing, analyzing, and maintaining recipes and menus to meet customer needs and expectations, nutritional requirements, and budget guidelines.
- Focus is on using our custom web-based menu program to input, analyze, develop diet extensions and maintain recipes that ensure the safety and integrity of all menu materials.
The ideal candidate:
- Has strong writing skills and basic knowledge of volume and weight measurement conversions.
- Is knowledgeable about therapeutic and texture-modified diets commonly used in the senior living industry.
- Has the ability to handle shifting priorities, and changing workloads and yet remains detail-focused.
- Fosters a collaborative team environment, maintains high standards, takes pride in work product, and is highly accountable.
- Has one (1) year of related experience with menu systems management and/or recipe analysis software, but not required.
- Commercial food service experience is a bonus.
