General Purpose
The City of Commerce City is looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, painting, carpet and flooring, and exterior maintenance. You will also assist with general custodial duties and special requests for set-up and tear-down as assigned.
This is an excellent entry-level position that offers opportunities to work alongside our Building Engineer and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor on larger and more complex projects. Join our team and work in a positive, team-oriented environment where your skills and contributions will be valued
Rotating on call shifts are required after completing training. These shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $38,781 - $48,476/annually ($18.64- $23.31/hourly)

PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:
- Holidays: There are 11 paid holidays each year.
- General Leave: Leave banks are granted to employees after six months of full-time employment. General Leave may be used for vacations, personal business, illness, or other reasons as requested by the employee and approved by his/her supervisor.
