Executive Staff Assistant

Summary:
Supports one or more members of the Executive Staff Team. Resolves complex administrative problems independently. Effectively manages all aspects of the office. Performs tasks that are diverse and advanced.
Formal Education Required:
a. Associates degree or college level coursework in secretarial business
Note: Education requirement may be substituted with additional experience
b. Requires high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word & Excel
Experience & Training Required:
a. Seven (7) years progressively responsible confidential secretarial experience, administrative or executive level experience
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Typing proficiency of 50-70 wpm with accuracy, demonstrated by documented skills assessment
b. Medical Terminology required of some positions as determined by Senior Management member and department requirements
c. Strong organizational skills
d. Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
e. Maintain flexibility as different projects and tasks develop
f. Ability to maintain high levels of productivity under varying circumstances
g. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
Level of Physical Demands:
a. Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
