A quiet, delightful, young, work-from-home, professional couple in SoHo (Manhattan - NYC) seeks a hands-on Executive Housekeeper to create a pristine luxury hotel-type quality living environment. The home is two floors and about 4,500 sq feet. The right candidate will have a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and all be able to support a 5-star chef on staff. Must be OK with both principles working from home.
Primary Responsibilities. (Not Limited To)
- Tidying, organizing, and cleaning, ensuring the interior of the household is well-maintained at all times.
- Receiving/sending/tracking mail and packages
- Sourcing, scheduling, and supervising all vendors and repairs.
- Creating and maintaining household inventories
- Creating maintenance schedules and daily/weekly/seasonal checklists
- Conducting daily routine checks of home and systems.
- Running errands
- Helping chef with setting tables, bringing down tea, etc.
- Assisting with seasonal decorating
- Closet(s) organized, sorted, and pristine at all times.
- Assisting the coordination of guests, dinners, parties, and events, including staffing additional help for events.
- Dog friendly. Two small, loving Poodles. (Maintain doggy pads)
- Discreet and harmonious with the principals.
Schedule: M-F, 9 am-5 pm, flexibility for some Saturdays
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000, depending on experience, plus healthcare
