Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO
Remote position with onsite meetings in Boston, this is a full-time role.
Shana Bryant Consulting (SBC) is a successful and growing Boston-based start-up events organization that provides meaningful work with great autonomy and responsibility. We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant with strong project management skills to support the Founder & CEO of this growing start-up organization, who has experience and enjoys the event planning space.
Essential responsibilities require responsiveness, immaculate execution, and extreme attention to detail to create efficiency and impact with all communications, tasks, meetings & projects.
The priority of the position is to ensure the CEO is executing with high efficiency so they can operate at full capacity and make the best use of their time.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
- Provide top-tier administrative support to the Founder & CEO, managing a complex and ever-changing calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating event arrangements.
- Function as a gatekeeper, screening and prioritizing communications, and ensuring their time is optimized.
- Demonstrate exceptional commitment to accuracy, detail, and follow-up, along with an ability to work under high-intensity situations when necessary.
· Oversee and coordinate special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with the organization’s goals.
· Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and execution of projects.
- Assist to plan, coordinate, and execute high-profile events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics, invitations, and on-site coordination.
- Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for both digital and physical documents, ensuring easy retrieval of information as needed.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and support to the CEO on key initiatives and administrative decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Executive Assistant experience, preferably in a start-up, events planning, or similarly complex organizational setting.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Discretion and ability to manage confidential information with utmost professionalism.
- Initiative-taking problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, make quick decisions, solve short term challenges quickly, set up systems that save us time in the long term, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

COMPENSATION:
This is a Full-Time remote role with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be required when running events. Limited benefits offerings. You'll work directly with the Founder & CEO, Shana Bryant. The hourly pay rate will range between $28-33/hr.
