United Way of Greater Cincinnati has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant who will play a pivotal role internally and externally, providing unwavering support to the CEO. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage complex schedules, handle confidential information, and maintain a keen understanding of the complex dynamics within and outside the organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Administrative Support:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar and administrative tasks to enable the CEO's focus on strategic priorities, ensuring the CEO's calendar is optimized against priorities and for time utilization.
- Facilitates the CEO's preparation for high-impact meetings, including advisory, board, and community engagements, by crafting comprehensive agendas, conducting pertinent research, and supplying essential speaking notes and information to ensure effective meeting outcomes.
- Partner closely with the Marketing and Communications team to manage development of external communications on behalf of the CEO, including drafting speeches, presentations, and written communications. Includes driving prep planning sessions for upcoming engagements and ensuring final deliverables are on brief and meet the needs of the engagement.
- Review and provide feedback/questions on documents, minutes, or meeting materials in collaboration with the CEO.
- Oversee and provide coaching to the Executive and Office Support Manager role, who will provide additional administrative support as needed.
Team Coordination and Leadership:
- Own the facilitation of Executive Team meeting agendas, action items, and follow-ups, helping drive synergy among the team.
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and senior executives, department heads, and staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee board meeting coordination and meeting materials to ensure smooth proceedings, delegating to the Executive and Office Support Manager as needed.
- Support members of the Executive Team with volunteer committee management as needed.
- Act as a troubleshooter and problem solver, helping triage issues and challenges as they arise, finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
Additional Tasks and Skills:
- Navigate complex stakeholder relationships and understand the political dynamics of various situations.
- Possess a high emotional intelligence quotient (EIQ) to foster effective interactions and relationships.
- Develop and maintain key partnerships, engage with community leaders, and foster relationships with grantee organizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five plus years of proven experience in a similar executive support role, preferably within a foundation or nonprofit organization.
- Experience with Microsoft office products is required.
- Experience working with Apple operating systems.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate complex relationships.
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability to changing organizational needs.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Salary starting $78,000 annually plus competitive benefits package.
