Summary:
The primary function of the Executive Assistant is to provide administrative support to ADT's Senior Vice President of FP&A and Investor Relations (SVP). In a demanding and dynamic environment like ADT, this requires advanced administrative skills The Executive Assistant must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, problem solve and bring common sense solutions. Having a professional demeanor and advanced written and communication skills is required. The role will play a critical part in facilitating communications and serve as a point of contact for the SVP.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complex administrative support services.
- Proactively solve problems and interact with other departments to resolve issues.
- Initiate and compose correspondence, memos, and emails.
- Produce information, gather data, and create documents for the EVP of Finance.
- Heavy gate keeping responsibilities with media personnel and other outside constituents seeking direct communication with the SVP.
- Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and adjusting plans.
- Maintain and prioritize dynamic meeting and travel schedules.
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings and events.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis utilizing a high level of discretion.
- Prepare and process expense reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative support or equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail (i.e., report preparation, etc.).
- Bias for action where work prioritization and schedule management are concerned.
