We are a small private Christian school serving students from PS (3 years old) to 8th grade. The mission of Odessa Christian School is to lead students to love God and to seek His truth by training them in a Christ-centered environment emphasizing moral and academic excellence and inspiring them to develop their God-given talents. Our vision is to teach the whole child in a Christ-centered environment emphasizing moral and academic excellence. We seek an organized and detail-oriented person with 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficient communication skills and thorough knowledge of English usage and grammar are required. Considerable knowledge of office practices and clerical methods. Proficient in accounting and bookkeeping procedures including Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace is required.
Other school duties as assigned, including but not limited to admissions, enrollment, Facts SIS, grant and aid, and billing and collections.
Applicants will take a test of accounting/bookkeeping skills and general office activities as a prerequisite for an interview.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
