About the Role: As an Events Associate at WITHIN, you'll report to the Director of Partnerships, responsible for executing in-person and virtual events to boost brand awareness, build community, and drive revenue. Your role involves planning and project managing various events, from industry conferences to executive networking dinners, ensuring seamless execution and memorable experiences for clients, partners, and the marketing community. This role will be responsible for events for WITHIN and our sister company, brkfst.io.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including industry conferences and tradeshows, networking dinners in various cities, owned client and prospect summits, webinars, and internal trainings.
- Bring the WITHIN & brkfst.io brands to life through events, incorporating innovative ideas and thoughtful details. You'll curate unforgettable experiences - not old school steak dinners in a stuffy private room.
- Research and vet new event sponsorship and co-sponsorship opportunities.
- Coordinate employee event attendance and manage on-site schedules during conferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and manage event logistics.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and organizers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
- Collect feedback, analyze outcomes, reconcile budgets, and prepare event reports to measure success.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate event planning and marketing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative flair.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while remaining calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.
Nice to Have:
- Degree in events, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana.
- Knowledge of virtual event platforms like ON24.
