Ar7seven Foundation is a mission-driven organization dedicated to support in the expression of Latin American culture as a fundamental contribution to the emotional and psychosocial support of children, adolescents and the elderly in situations of vulnerability (immigrants, street children, Down syndrome, autistic people, Alzheimer's disease) As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a passionate and organized Event Organizer to join our team.
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Organizer to plan, coordinate, and execute events for our non-profit organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from concept development and logistics coordination to volunteer management and post-event evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, themes, and target audience.
Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that align with the organization's mission and goals.
Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
Create event timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support event execution and ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate event promotion and marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and outreach to media partners.
Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, and provide on-site support to address any issues or concerns.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, volunteers, and vendors.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential challenges or obstacles.
Passion for the non-profit sector and a commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Pay: $22.68 - $26.11 per hour
