We are seeking a highly organized, punctual, and experienced Lead Wedding & Event Planner to join our team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of wedding and event planning for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, & venues
- Review and negotiate vendor proposals
- Schedule & attend vendor meetings or site visits
- Meticulous pre-planning of all events
- Create and manage detailed payment schedules, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within budget
- Assist in the selection of venues and vendors by providing recommendations
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of pre-wedding events, wedding rehearsals and ceremonies, ensuring all details are executed to the client's satisfaction
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for all events, ensuring all vendors and wedding party members are aware of their responsibilities
- Manage day-of coordination, overseeing all logistics and ensuring the event runs smoothly, including setup and tear down of the event
- Act as a main point of contact for the client, responding to all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Continuously seek new and innovative ideas to improve the overall planning process and stay current with industry trends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Wedding Planner of minimally 5 years
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with budgets and vendor management
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for the wedding industry and a desire to create unforgettable events for clients
