We are searching for a Bilingual Marketing Event Planner -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will oversee and facilitate all aspects, where applicable, of TCHP corporate and member marketing programs planning from site selection, vendor negotiation, event registration, marketing, communications, onsite staffing, and post-event reporting. Work with all stakeholders to develop programs for members. Work in the community within all the service areas that TCHP oversees to engage TCHP membership in activities within their community and host member events in varying locations within these communities. Travel as required to oversee projects implemented in any of the TCHP service areas.

Responsibilities- Organizes and executes member Marketing Events. Coordinates events with local entities and key stakeholders
- Coordinates budget within overall marketing budget by tracking expenses for event budget reconciliation to ensure projects stay within budget
- Represents Health Plan in Public Relations initiatives. Strategize with Health Plan and Marketing colleagues for effective positioning of products within the marketplace
- Approaches local businesses or organizations that fit within the scope of the marketing plan to solicit support or inclusion in media spots
- Executes all member events or projects within branding and marketing guidelines. Re-writes and/or edits copy for Health Plan collateral for each member event to assure materials are accurate and current including direct mailers, e-blasts, promotional items, social media, and Web site
- Edits and performs duties associated with VAS and subsequent updates of collateral materials to comply with all state regulations and deadlines
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by leader. Writes, edits and delivers a weekly activity report (W.A.R.) for events/activities, visits and market updates as well as a monthly report with key highlights and stats of events conducted for the Monthly Manager report
- Serves on committees, including departmental, IDS, community and/or state and federal
- Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- 3 years' experience in planning Marketing Events
- Bilingual - highly preferred
- Knowledge of planning events from beginning to end
